A Writing Update, Plus a Valentine’s Surprise!
It’s been a minute since we’ve had a chat, so let me share what’s going on so far with book four: The Book of Wolves:
- Revisions are taking SO LONG, but I’m loving how the story is taking shape. I love my MCs so much, I can’t even begin to describe how much.
- After revisions, the MS will go to my beta reader for notes on progress before I revise it again and send it to my editor.
- Why are you taking so long with this book, when you rapid released the first three? Great question, I would love to tell you: I drafted the first three books in the summer of 2023 and revised them between then and the summer of 2024, when I published The Book of Water. I began rewriting The Book of Wolves from a halfway drafted manuscript in the winter of 2024, and it’s been a journey, let me tell you. (I’ve had to rewrite book four twice, already.)
- Soon after edits, I’ll be able to order my cover (omg I’m so excited) and share its beauty with all of you!!
