You may be wondering, “Where was Morgan’s April newsletter?” Well, I’m wondering the same thing 😂. April zoomed by with three weekends at the Saturday Market, drafting Book Five (title reveal coming soon to a newsletter near you!), and ✨ commissioning character art ✨!

The lovely Raven (Instagram) did a splendid job on bringing my MCs to life, and you have exclusive early access as my newsletter subscriber! I am thrilled to share with you Celine and Owen, Rory and Locke, and Neeve and Erick:

I am absolutely thrilled with how they turned out! Raven did a lovely job, and I’m excited to commission more work from them!

The Book of Wolves Update!

The copy edits are IN! That’s right, folks, my editor has sent back my copy and line edits, and I am already 100 pages into adding shine to the pages. That means ARCs are ever nearer!! I’ll send a newsletter for ARC requests, but also keep an eye on my Instagram and Threads (were I post my “Look for ARC readers!” stuff).

My tentative release date for The Book of Wolves is

*drumroll*

June 17! 

That is so very close to the one-year anniversary of my debut! Look forward to special posts that month reminiscing on my first year as an indie author!

Book Five Update!

We’re over the 40k mark in the first draft!! If you follow me on Threads, you may have seen that I tried fast-drafting during the month of April, forgetting two very important things:

• My college classes are coming to a close, so there are final papers to grade
• My life is a delicate realm of chaos

But I managed to write half of my 80k goal, and I can foresee this book is already going to exceed that finish line! I love where the story is going, which is an incredible feeling. I’m hoping for a release this fall (because the book is spoooooky), but we’ll see what hand life deals!
